"We got the most surprising and happiest news of our lives in Gustavsberg, where my wife, Marcela, and I were living during the Swedish semester. Besides the great infrastructure for antenatal care in Sweden and health system in general, Gabriel was born in Brazil close to the whole family!"

Opening ceremony of the exhibition 'The Brueghel Dinasty' at Villa Olmo

Como, Italy - March 26, 2012

The IMIM 8th edition students were invited to the opening ceremony of the Exhibition ‘The Brueghel Dinasty,' which took place at Villa Olmo, in Como, last Friday night.

The event was simply amazing. Doron J. Lurie, conservator of paintings at the old Tel Aviv Museum of Art, the Mayor Stefano Bruni and the town councillor for culture Stefano Gaddi gave a speech, followed by a show with a 3D projection set on the facade of the Villa, an interplay of water fountains and fire blastings choreographed to light and music, ended in an impressive fireworks display. After the ceremony the exhibition opened its doors to those present.

Leadership Lessons In An Irish Pub

[...] The second learning was the fact that the leader is always the odd man out in the beginning. He or she is the one who does it for the first time and later others follow. The Danish girl just followed her heart's say and let go of her inhibitions to dance in front of an international audience. And, if she were to think of what others will feel about her dance, the pub would not have been so lively and charming on saint Patrick's day. She was the odd man out in the beginning. The passion of a person made an event beautiful and an institution lively. The same is true in business and science.  There is always a first person who challenge the status quo. If religion had its way, the human kind would still believe earth as the centre of the solar system. Copernicus  pointed out in the 16th century that the 2000 year belief then was not true. His book 'On the revolutions of the heavenly bodies' was published when he was on his death bed. Similarly, Mr. Ratan Tata's idea to build a ultra low cost car was written off as impossible and dangerous by industry analysts and leaders. But the leader acted as an odd man out and pursued the idea to a commercial product. [...]
