There is no specific form for the recommendation letters; however they must be typewritten, printed on a letterhead, and contain a signature and an official stamp.
You are no longer requested to have your copies certified; nevertheless, the certifications are accepted and, in case of any doubt, the IMIM Academic Steering Board reserves the right to check the authenticity of the copies.
Yes, you can, if you expect to graduate by the end of July 2012. In that case, you must submit an official letter, signed and sealed from your University, stating the expected graduation date. The final admission will depend on the achievement of the needed degrees.
English certificates: what are the minimum scores?
- IELTS : 6.5
- TOEFL (paper-based : 550, computer-based : 213, internet-based : 80)
- Warning: the GRE test is considered neither as an English proficiency nor as a plus for your application
Native English speakers do not have to send proof of language proficiency.
If you have done your studies in English, you do not need to send an English certificate, as long as you submit an official statement, issued by your University, confirming that the medium of instruction was English.
As the official TOEFL score report sent by ETS may arrive after the deadline, you must submit the unofficial TOEFL score report given the day of the test.
As the official GMAT score sent by ETS may arrive after the deadline, you must submit the unofficial GMAT score given the day of the test.
Yes, recent GMAT scores are not compulsory.
The IMIM Programme is primarily oriented to graduate students with a technical or scientific background. Other academic backgrounds can also be considered.
IMIM students have an average of 2 years of relevant work experience. Work experience is not compulsory, but, if present and relevant, it will be taken into account in the selection process.
There is no age limit, but in general Master courses are a qualification which you would expect to take early on in your career after having some working experience.
Applications will be processed after deadlines. The selection procedure lasts approximately one month.
The specific number of admissions varies each year - as well as the Country of origin and the background of the applicants -, depending on the applicant pool. Gender and nationality are taken into account in the selection process, as well as personal, professional and academic experiences, but most of all we focus our attention on individuals rather than on classifications of people.
IMIM's Coordinating Institution will communicate unofficial results in March and official results in June.
Once you have been officially admitted in the Programme and received the required documents to apply for the student visa.
With a student visa you will be able to work part-time.
As the IMIM Programme is a full-time programme, studying and working at the same time is not advisable.
For the academic period 2012/2014, the tuition fees for IMIM Master's Programme, for both European and NON-European citizens, is 20,000EUR
